Important Information On Fair Qualifications


In order to qualify for the Kenosha County Fair, you must attend five of the eleven meetings/events.  One of the five may be excused absence by notifying a board member prior to the meeting. If you arrive after a meeting starts or leave before a meeting is adjourned, you will receive 1/2 credit.

The $30 sponsorship forms are due by January 31st 2008.  There are no refunds.

All ID and Standard sheets must be in to Bev Francois, Horse Project Advisor, 10235 Wilmont Rd., Pleasant Prairie, Wisconsin 53158 by May 1st 2008. Deadline for Horseless Horse members is June 1st 2008.

Family volunteer work ( Rule 16 on Kenosha County Horse Project Standards Sheet), is also a county fair qualification requirement.    The meeting/events are as follows:

Note: Any student attending college and unable to make the five required meetings must contact the board for alternate requirements. Arrangements for alternate requirements must be made by January of the current years and their project/result to the board by July 1st of the current year.
